Remembering...
Shady came to our family 10 years ago. She was found on the streets of North Topeka. She was very ill and had to have surgery to remove several tumors in her stomach and uterus. In the last six months she started to go downhill again. On 2-23-08 we had to put Shady girl down. Her tumors came back again, this time stomach and lungs. We will miss her with all our hearts. She is and will always be the love of our lives. ...Tabitha Pranker
Sadie Irene Dressler.....7/9/94-2/27/06
Sadie was the original “Prairie Pug”. Because of Sadie, we came to love, revere, adore, treasure and totally devote our lives to Pugs. Dennis was a German shepherd man. He wanted nothing to do with those ugly smushed face yappy dogs. But with the kids gone, Mom needed a baby to love and Sadie was that baby. Before long, Dad learned that not only were Pugs chick magnets but “real” men loved them as well. Sadie Irene Dressler leaves behind a legacy that has and will provide a home for homeless Pugs. Sadie went to the Rainbow Bridge tonight and she is “arooing” at God right now.
Goodbye my sweet precious baby dog. I will see you in every Pugs face and remember you with much love. Mom and Dad
Bailey.....???? - December 1, 2005
Bailey, you were taken from us far sooner than you should have been. In that short time you stole the hearts of all that knew you. You were such a tiny little thing, used up and thrown away, by a breeder, because you were no longer of any use to them. How many puppies you had no one knows, but I’m sure you mourned each and every one as they were taken from you. You were found alone and afraid, but you kissed the faces of those who found you. We were so blessed to be the ones that had the joy of loving you and sharing your life. Mama and Daddy miss you everyday baby girl, you’re forever in our hearts. Howard and Kathy Montgomery
Lady Bug.....???? - 2005
Bugger Boo, you came into our lives and hearts like so many others. You were old but other then that…you were perfect. You had the softest coat I have ever petted. And you loved to bat your eyes and hootchy coo with the boys. You came from homes that never allowed you to be on the furniture or carpet or snuggle up in bed with those you loved. Once you joined us, you were able to come and go as you pleased. You also loved to drive the car and snap at passing vehicles. You were the funniest little girl with personality plus. You will forever be in our hearts, Miss Bug. Love, Dennis and Vicki Dressler Aka Pugdad and Pugmom
Farley.....August 7, 1998 - August 2005
Farls S. Bean, you had problems your whole life but we did the best we could for you. We miss you each and every day. Through all the pain you suffered, you were always such a brave boy. We love you Farls and will see again someday. Love, Dennis and Vicki Dressler Aka Pugdad and Pugmom
Pugsley.....????-November 2004
Pug, you were only nine years old when you crossed the Rainbow Bridge. You had so many struggles and we never knew until you were gone what was wrong with you. You spun in circles, screamed, was afraid of the scary slick floor and caught imaginary bugs, ate them and sometimes choked. When we came home, you would purse your little lips and sing “woo, woo, woo” to us. You had the most adorable little face and pranced like a stallion. You are with your little Sophie Jo now and you have no more problems. You are finally at peace. We love you and miss you Pug. Kiss Sophie for us. Love, Dennis and Vicki Dressler Aka Pugdad and Pugmom
Rudy Tooter.....????-2/27/06
Mommy and Daddy miss you so much, Rudy Tooter. We will never forget when you first came into our home, barking your little head off and then running wild pugtonas around the living room with Henry. You were always so full of life. Sometimes we wondered "what have we gotten ourselves into with this live-wire pug?" :) But we always loved you. I will really miss those special times when you would stop running long enough to cuddle on my lap. So much love in your eyes. You were only with us a short time but we will never forget your funny little happy face and cheerful energy. Your brother Henry misses you too. -Melissa Evans

Puggie.....
This was our first Pug family. Joe and I married later in life and have no children. These Pugs were our babies. Our hearts broke each time one of them passed over the Rainbow Bridge. Joe and I both have had dogs most of our life but were "Pugged". Our babies were so loving, devoted, and a constant source of pleasure. The depth of our loss is still immeasurable. Magic, Sadie Mae and Puggie, mommy and daddy still miss and love you. Till we meet again...
