Morgan

I had always wanted to do something to help with Prairie Pugs rescue. My first pug was a rescue and I just thought rescue was awesome. But, I knew I would never be able to afford to give much in the way of donations so I offered to become a foster home. It wasn't until the rescue suddenly got an overwhelming number of rescue pugs that my foster home was really in need. It was then that I got to take Morgan and Beau home. I was thrilled, both Morgan and Beau were black males and I already had 2 black pugs, Lucy & Gus. I am a sucker for black pugs. Right away, when I got the boys home Morgan and I just clicked. He was with me at all times, he would even wait outside the bathroom door when I would take a shower. I could be in there for an hour and he would wait patiently right outside the door. After a week and a half Beau was adopted to a family in Oklahoma and there was a family in Kansas City that had applied to adopt Morgan. I, of course, had already decided that Morgan wasn't going anywhere. I just hadn't gotten the nerve to speak up because I had sworn that I would be able to let both boys go. Well, when the family in Kansas City did not pass inspection I made it official and adopted him. So, now he is a permanent fixture in my home and he is wonderful. He still follows me everywhere and he is the best lap warmer I have ever had. He and Gus have become brothers and they have both come to understand that Princess Lucy is in charge. I don't know what I would do with out my boys. Morgan really completes our Pug Pack.
