Bailey, Percy and Smokey Joe

We are owned by five pugs, Bugs, Bear, Smokey Joe, Percy and Bailey. All are rescues except Bugs; he started our love affair with pugs. Bear came next, he is a puppy mill survivor and we adopted him from Midwest Pug Rescue. We were going to stop a two, but I had gotten bitten by the rescue bug. I kept an eye on the Midwest Pug Rescue’s web site just in case there was another pug in need of our family. That’s how Smokey Joe and Prairie Pugs came into our lives. I couldn’t resist Smokey Joe’s face. When I contacted the rescue they said he was with Prairie Pugs and we needed to fill out an application with them. I was thrilled because we had attended Pug Parties for Prairie Pugs at the Dresslers’. To make a long story short we adopted Smokey Joe plus our sweet old man Percy and our midget Bailey. We not only increased our pug family, but met two special people who are now a part of our hearts. -Howard and Kathy Montgomery
